Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Phone Number: Required for account verification and security. Your phone number is never shared with other users.
• User ID: A unique identifier generated for your account.
• Profile Information: Optional information you choose to provide, including biography, avatar selection, and gender.

Location Information (Optional)

If you choose to enable location features, we collect your approximate location. This is used solely to display your general location (state or country only) to other users and to enable location-based filtering. Your precise location is never shared with other users.

User Content

We collect content you create and share on the Service:

• Prompts and requests you create

Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens

What Other Users Can See

Other users of the Service may see:

• Your biography (if you provide one)
• Your general location (state or country only, if enabled)
• Prompts you create and messages in conversations

Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with trusted third parties who assist us in operating the Service:

• Twilio: For SMS verification
• Cloudinary: For image storage and delivery
• Expo: For push notification delivery

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the specific services they provide to us.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information. All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/SSL.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove all associated data within 30 days. During this period, your data is inaccessible to other users.

All Users

• Access: View your personal information in your profile settings
• Update: Update your profile information at any time
• Delete: Delete your account through the app settings
• Location: Enable or disable location sharing at any time
• Notifications: Manage push notification preferences in your device settings

European Users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights including the right to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and to object to processing.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data).

Oliver's Army is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at brandon@olivers.army and we will promptly delete their information and terminate their account.

Oliver's Army is committed to maintaining a safe environment and protecting all users, especially minors, from child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We have implemented comprehensive policies and procedures in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards.

Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAM is defined as any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Our commitment includes:

• Immediate removal of CSAM upon detection or notification
• Permanent suspension of accounts that post, share, or distribute CSAM
• Reporting all instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies
• Cooperation with law enforcement investigations

Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

We prohibit all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation, including:

• Grooming: Attempting to build inappropriate relationships with minors for sexual purposes
• Sextortion: Threatening to expose intimate images to coerce minors
• Solicitation: Requesting sexual content from minors
• Trafficking: Facilitating the trafficking of minors for sexual exploitation
• Sexual Exploitation: Any behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children

In-App Reporting Mechanism

Users can report concerning content or behavior directly through our in-app reporting feature available in all conversations and user profiles. All reports are:

• Reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours
• Kept confidential
• Acted upon promptly with appropriate enforcement actions
• Escalated to law enforcement when necessary

Compliance with Child Safety Laws

We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including:

• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
• 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (Reporting requirements for CSAM)
